The arrival of Onboarding

Onboarding consists of the process of incorporating the new employee into the organization from the first moment, namely involving him in the mission, culture, values, team, function and objectives of the organization in order to complete his effective integration, enhancing your performance.

Best Practices

The Onbording process will be completed when the new employee is productive and feels he or she is an effective member of the organization. In this way, we created this manual with examples of good practices that helped achieve this goal:

Step-by-Step to the 5:
  1. Preparation

It is important that the new person is involved in the organization before their first day to help them feel connected to the organization.

EXTRA POINTS: Make the new employee feel welcome by asking about your preferences in terms of work resources and decorating your workplace with welcome notes.

  1. First Day

It is crucial that the employee's first impression is positive in order to promote future expectations. For this, we highlight the importance of informing, socializing and celebrating.

EXTRA POINTS: Add a special touch by offering a welcome kit, scheduling a snack or lunch as a team and conducting a questionnaire of interests.

  1. First week

The key word of the first week is the feeling of belonging.

This is the training week about the role and the definition of its role in the organization.

EXTRA POINTS: Be patient. Continuous training is easier to retain than mass training.

  1. 30 Days

The first month is based on connections and achieving goals.

During this period, the development of a future career plan begins.

  1. 90 Days

A well structured Onboarding process lasts about 90 days depending on the position and the employee.

At this point, the employee begins to make valuable contributions to the organization, however it is important to continue monitoring.
